He married Isabella Jane Hitch, daughter of John Hitch and Katherine Hanna, on 18 September 1828. Alexander Simpson Hutchinson died on 23 August 1886 at age 78.
     Alexander Simpson Hutchinson He was Justice of the Peace in Laurens County from 1846 to 1858. He was a Master Mason, being initiated on September 6, 1851, in Laurens, S.C. In the Fall of 1858, he moved with his family to Howard Co., AR, a trip requiring seven weeks. He obtained farmland near the town of Corinth, and made that his home for the remainder of his life. He immigrated.
